Adult Classes at EEC

There are three types of class available at EEC to cater for Adult students.

Private Lessons

If you are looking for total flexibility and control of how you study English, a private one-on-one class at EEC is the answer.

Whether you are planning a vacation, learning for fun or doing business in English, our native teachers can cover any topic you wish to study.

For more details about Private Lessons, please contact EEC.

Group Lessons

English is used for communicating with other people, however it can be difficult to find other English speakers to practice with. A group lesson provides the perfect environment to use your English and to develop important speaking and listening skills.

We structure the lessons around a textbook so it is easy to review details in your own time, but our native teachers cover many additional topics relevant to the group.

For more details about Group Lessons, please contact EEC.

Which do you prefer: Pocky or Toppo?

Senior Courses
(60+)

See the Flyer

These two new classes are designed with more senior students in mind.

Language Course - This six month course is centred on issues and topics of interest to older students. If you are just starting to learn English or have a basic knowledge but want to develop your skills in a relaxed environment, this class is for you!

Travel Course - If you are already planning a trip or have a desire to travel, this course will enable you to deal with the most common holiday scenarios. Each week a new area is covered - from airports to restaurants and from shopping to using public transport. All of the lessons are designed with mature travellers in mind, and the native teacher is on hand to answer any questions you may have.

For more details about either Senior Course, please contact EEC.

Other Activities

Fukui Soba Tour Vol. 1

We offer lots of fun activities, giving students a chance to meet each other outside class and speak English in a more casual setting. Starting this year we are visiting several soba shops around Fukui so that we can experience delicious Echizen soba together!

We started our tour at Fuki no Hana, which is a small soba shop near Fukui Station. The specialty is, of course, Echizen soba with grated daikon radish! There are also many other kinds of soba and udon available, and many set courses as well!

This is the sauce katsudon set (\800), which comes with a mini-katsudon, oroshi soba, Japanese pickles and soba tea. It looks so good!! Itadakimasu!

All of the soba at Fuki no Hana is home-made, and the dashi broth is so delicious! Also, the katsudon is made with high-quality pork. It was very tender, and served over Fukui koshi hikari rice.

This is Kellie (R) and the shop's owner, Mr. Yasutsuna Sakai (L). The shop has a very friendly and homey atmosphere, so everyone should feel welcome!

Right now, if you mention EEC at Fuki no Hana, you can get a \50 discount on ANY ORDER!!! Please go and enjoy this great shop's wonderful food!

Location: Fukui Ekimae, between Ogawaya Katsudon and Family Mart.
